Book Four of the Lockwood & Co. Series
So, Lucy is on her own now, for reasons that make complete sense to her - but when her former colleagues over at Lockwood and Co. have a case that could use her expertise, why would she say no? And as the plot thickens in this really fast-moving and interesting story, we find Lucy not just battling a cannibal ghost but also getting involved in a crazy haunted village whose visitors raise the kinds of questions that even George can't quickly answer.
OH this was a good listen! I missed my skull and the more I listen to his snark the more I need him in my life :). This is a THICK plot with lots of new developments and good spooks. Some twists really surprised me! I like the maturing relationship between Lockwood and Lucy. The narrator is still so good, in my opinion, and I just cannot wait to find out what happens next. Stroud has NOT let me down with this one and I'm even giving it five stars because if I want to listen to a thirteen hour book so much that I find a way to finish it in just over four days, then THAT is a good story.
