In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

genre: contemporary romance

The cabin in Park City is the most constant part of Maelyn Jones's life.  When it is Christmas, you spend time with your friends-that-are-family doing all your family wintery things and she loves it.   This year, though, Maelyn makes one bad decision that seems to taint the experience and when bad news comes that she just can't handle, Maelyn wishes with all her heart for a redo.  But when the universe grants her that redo?  Things aren't as easy to solve as she'd thought.  And when her life starts to have a Groundhog Day vibe, she starts to realize that maybe getting a second chance will require her to be brave enough to go for what she REALLY wants - or WHO she really wants.

This is fluffy fun that I read in a day, such a Christmasy season story.  Lots of family and friends, a unique setting, sweet but a little bit complicated romance, it hit the spot.  There are a couple bedroom scenes and some language, for those who want to avoid that, but it could still be enjoyed if you skip over those parts and there is still a lot of tender holiday goodness.
