Hold On, But Don't Hold Still: Hope and Humor from My Seriously Flawed Life by Kristina Kuzmic

50085691. sx318 sy475 genre: non-fiction, parenting, self-help

I don't remember the first of Kristina's videos I saw on the internet, years ago.  It doesn't matter - what I really remember is laughing - and feeling like this lady was on to something with her humor and down-to-earth advice.

This is Kristina's story - the good, the hard, the exhausting.  Her writing style is just like her speaking style - a little wordy, a little crazy, but also engaging and snarky.  I could hear her voice as I read and that made it maybe more enjoyable for me than it might for an uninitiated reader.  I do think, however, that she does have some wisdom to share.  She HAS walked a hard road and not just made the best of it, but actively created a life for herself that's full of what she loves.  And that was intentional.  I think her parenting advice is sound and comes from a place of really wanting to raise capable and empathetic kids.

I enjoyed it.
