Area X is an anomaly. A mystery. Something is happening here and the world needs to understand what. So periodically groups of scientists venture in to Area X to learn all they can and to study how the earth is changing an inexplicable ways. When the biologist arrives, they are first drawn to what seems to be some kind of structure but what they find within will change the scope of the entire mission. Things absolutely are not what they seen.
Dang! This was scary and super interesting and mind-bendy. Solid writing kept me totally interested and I also feel like I was just completely fascinated by what was happening. I wanted to understand area X too. This is like science-fiction book but with a basis in biology. Hard to explain, but I really enjoyed it.
