I saw this challenge over at Bermuadonion's blog and thought it would be a good way for me to sort through my reading list for this fall :) The challenge is called Fall Into Reading and all I have to do is make a list of my books for this most glorious time of year. Most of these are helping me work towards another challenge or are book club picks. And here we go :)
1. Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman
2. Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts
3. How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by Julia Alvarez
4. The Bell Jar by Slyvia Plath
5. Silas Marner by George Eliot
6. The Road by Cormac McCarthy
7. Life After Genius by M. Ann Jacoby
8. The History of Love by Nicole Krauss
9. The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman
Of course, surely other books will come along, but I'm aiming to get all these read. Should be a pleasure :)

Good Luck with this challenge! I've got Life After Genius on my list, too.
Haven't read a lot of these, but I thought History of Love was fantastic... you're in for a treat!
I'll be reading The Zookeeper's Wife in a few weeks for our book club (f2f book club)-- I look forward to what you think!
Omigosh, you'll LOVE The Road! Such an amazing/haunting book...beautiful in it's simplicity.
hey corinne!:) that's a nice list.. maybe i should take part in the challenge as well.. it'll be a way of organizing my reading..
anyways, i read The Zookeeper's Wife earlier this year and i liked it. shall wait for you to finish the book to discuss it more with ya!:)
You have an interesting list there! The Road is so memorable! I'll be reading The Zookeeper's Wife soon for a book club--I've read only good reviews of it so far!
looks great!! I own Zookeeper's wife and really want to read it based on reviews....we'll see when though :)
YAY! Silas Marner!! I should do this challenge. I am being VERY slow right now. Maybe now that all my visitors are leaving I'll have more time.
