Moxy Maxwell Does Not Love Stuart Little by Peggy Gifford
Ha! This book is a GEM. Moxy spends this entire book avoiding her summer reading assignment (due tomorrow) of Stuart Little. The adventures and mayhem! The definitions of useful words and the photographs of the action! Moxy is a fantastic, quirky character and the short chapters made the read a clever one. Great fun.
where does this one belong?:
children's literature,
comfy tree award

this does look like a great book! I have never heard of it, thanks for sharing. is it a regular fiction book or a YA, I just ask that because the cover looks too fun to be a grown-up book if you know what I mean. why do we always have to have boring covers on our books!?! silly.
I'd say more children's lit - I think my 8 year old could read it and like it - in fact, I'm going to pass it on to her today :)
I just read this one and thought it was so much fun! Especially because I always get my back up whenever I feel like I HAVE to read a book, so I know exactly how she feels. :-)
