The Graveyard Book probably targets readers somewhere between Coraline and Stardust, but as a 25 year old, I enjoyed this novel more than the previous three, and I loved those to begin with. It combines the darkness of Coraline with the magic of Stardust and the delightful contemporization of mythological lore in the style of American Gods. Highly recommended.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060530944/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=emjay2d-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0060530944Greg Schoulerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11312879828820047250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6636261725049671888.post-84864359302232021262012-02-14T02:04:22.920-08:002012-02-14T02:04:22.920-08:00This is my favourite Gaiman book, although I did l...This is my favourite Gaiman book, although I did like Stardust too. I also had a lot of fun with Coraline (which was, as is often the case, better than the movie...but the movie was still fun).

I tried to jump up to his "adult" fiction with American Gods and I have to agree with Melissa...it is very vulgar. So much so that I put it down and didn't finish it.

I hear great things about Stardust and plan to get to it soon.Okiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01393689307300304035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6636261725049671888.post-89821831987788168342012-02-09T09:34:37.456-08:002012-02-09T09:34:37.456-08:00I've had this for a while and keep meaning to ...I've had this for a while and keep meaning to read it. American Gods is wild and weird (and the first 50 pages are really, really vulgar). I've been meaning to try his book with Terry Pratchett, Good Omens. And that's all the Gaiman I've read. (Aside from his picture books.)Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00217383813263874657noreply@blogger.com
